About 15 years ago, Universal Scrap Metals began collecting government-sponsored World War II posters that promoted scrap collection. Today, our collection, numbering more than 50 posters, has transformed our corporate offices into an historical art gallery.

   In conjunction with the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries in Washington, D.C. a composite "collector's poster" was created from a sampling of our collection.
